Growing Spiritually with the Saints

Catherine of Genoa & William Law
R. LaMon Brown

This second book of Reclaiming the Sacred Series provides a personal study of the lives of Catherine of Genoa, a Catholic of the medieval period, and William Law, a Protestant of the eighteenth century, offering guidance for probing a life of sacrificial service. Combining history and meditation, Growing Spiritually with the Saints focuses on the disciplines of confession, Holy Communion, service, prayer, study, and simplicity.

Following the study of each saint, seven days of personal meditations and reflections are given, including application of spiritual principles, divine reading, and prayer.

LaMon Brown is a professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he teaches missions and theology. He has pastored at churches in New York and Louisiana and has been involved with missionary service in India and Thailand.
