Weaver also teaches Baptist History and Theology at Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He is a graduate of Baylor University (Ph.D., Religion & Politics) and the University of Georgia (B.A., Political Science). Weaver and his wife, Alexis, live in Tucker, Georgia, with their three children.
