How to Publish a Book with Smyth & Helwys
Smyth & Helwys Publishing is interested in manuscripts that contribute to the life and ministry of the church. We are pleased that you have chosen to share your proposal with us. Because of the volume of proposals we receive, we require that all proposals be received in a similar manner. This page provides the information you need to submit a proposal.

3. What contribution will this book make?
4. What existing books would compete with this book, and what makes this project unique?
e. The present state of the book:

3. Is it on computer disk?
f. Please keep a copy of your proposal as WE DO NOT RETURN MANUSCRIPTS.

Please mail AND email proposals to:
Smyth & Helwys Publishing
6316 Peake Road

After submitting the proposal, please allow us adequate time to evaluate it. Our process may take several months to complete. Periodically, we will send a letter informing you of the proposal’s status. Sometimes we will request additional chapters or information.
Because Smyth & Helwys Publishing is concerned about the quality of its publications, our evaluation process considers many aspects of a book. Often, our acceptance of a proposal is contingent upon the manuscript being shaped or reworked in order to make the book better meet the needs of our audience. If this is the case with your proposal, someone from our editorial division will be in touch with you.
Thank you for sending your proposal to Smyth & Helwys Publishing. If you have further questions, please email your questions to email@example.com.
