ADULT STUDY

Does Your Child's World Scare You?

Most parents read the headlines and shake their heads, wondering about the sort of world their children are inheriting. Children are faced with real challenges at earlier and earlier ages. What can parents and churches do to help make the world a better place for children? What can be done to help prepare children to wisely navigate the challenges of today’s world?

Does Your Child’s World Scare You? is a five-week study designed to look at key issues facing families with children. A book that offers in-depth analysis and ideas for action supports the study.

Sessions include:
1. Introduction: “They’re Just Kids”
2. Family Life: “The Cleavers Don’t Live Here Anymore”
3. Violence: “It’s a Jungle Out There”
4. Sex: “A Parent’s Guide to Preventing Teen Pregnancy”
5. Health: “It’s a Sick World”
Of course, not all sessions must be used, nor must they be used in the order listed.
