How are we to view times of change, confusion, and unexpected events? In what new ways can we consider our faith in Christ during times of change? What sort of words do we use to describe such times? Are we going through a bad time or a tough time? Is our faith lacking?
Jesus promised his followers a life that was abundant (John 10:10). One of the ways God loves is by equipping us to deal with change. In this study, you will explore these times of unexpected change and transition. These sessions help us to see that such times need not be viewed as problems or sidetracks but as opportunities and integral parts of the process of the life of faith. Transitions are not times when something is wrong, but are a necessary and good part of an ongoing process of learning and growing. These times are not off the track but actually are a part of the track itself. Our challenge is to maintain a constant devotion to God when all around us is subject to change sometimes with little warning. Our Christian faith provides us an identity based on Gods love and grace. With Gods grace we can deal with changes by fully entertaining and embracing transitions gaining the growth and learning available from them.
