Marion Prather Hays, English teacher, newspaper columnist, and Washington, D.C. Sunday school teacher, is best known as the co-worker and wife of the late Brooks Hays, former United Stated senator from Arkansas. Boldly standing against racism and bigotry, the Hayses gained the admiration of countless American political and religious leaders.
