William G. Benton, Pastor of First Baptist Church, York, South Carolina, is a graduate of Furman University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. A South Carolina native, Benton previously pastored congregations in North and South Carolina. He and his wife Carleen are the parents of two boys, Jonathan and Daniel.
