After submitting the proposal, please allow us adequate time to evaluate it. Our process may take several months to complete. Periodically, we will send a letter informing you of the proposal's status. Sometimes we will request additional chapters or information. Because Smyth & Helwys Publishing is concerned about the quality of its publications, our evaluation process considers many aspects of a book. Often, our acceptance of a proposal is contingent upon the manuscript being shaped or reworked in order to make the book better meet the needs of our audience. If this is the case with your proposal, someone from our editorial division will be in touch with you. Thank you for sending your proposal to Smyth & Helwys Publishing. If you have further questions, please email your questions to proposal@helwys.com. |
